Belqis: FIFA banned my appearance at the World Cup party with “high heels”

The Emirati artist, Belqis, expressed her great happiness over her revival of the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, noting that she feels proud of that experience.

Belqis said during her meeting on the program, that her participation in the closing ceremony of the 2022 World Cup is a great addition to her artistic career, pending: I was very impressed with the level of organization in Qatar, and I was proud and happy to participate, and my adrenaline was high like a bird flying in the sky, and the moment I got on the stage, watching The large crowds around me, and the crowd’s interaction… I was in a state of astonishment.

And regarding the golden look that she wore at the ceremony, Belqis replied: The audience in the stadium compared my appearance to the World Cup, and said we saw the cup on the field, and I was going to appear in “high heels”, but FIFA prevented me from that, and I had to wear shoes without heels.

On the other hand, Belqis starred in the ceremony, in the presence of a number of world and Arab stars, in a singing combination that was presented directly to the world on the grounds of the match in Lusail Stadium, which hosted the final between Argentina and France.

Belqis participated in the closing ceremony with Davido, Aisha, Ozuna, James, Noura Fatehi and Rahma Riad, where the audience interacted with them greatly.

Belqis appeared in a golden look, through clothes specially prepared for her by Valentino, to be the first Arab artist to wear clothes specially made for her by the Italian fashion house.
