Real Madrid: PSG enters the dance for a striker

PSG would be interested in the situation of Marco Asensio, at Real Madrid. Luis Campos might send a contract proposal to the merengue striker during the month of January.

If we believe the Sports world, PSG ticked the name of Marco Asensio. The French formation would like to take advantage of the player’s contractual situation to secure his services for free, during the summer transfer window. Attacker’s Commitment ends on June 30. Clubs interested in signing him can send him a proposal from 1is January. Luis Campos would see in him an element capable of integrating the rotation of the offensive sector of the team of Christophe Galtier.

35 caps with La Roja

Aged 26, Marco Asensio has been playing at Real Madrid since the summer of 2015. Florentino Perez’s team then bet 4 million euros to recruit him. The native of Palma de Mallorca has since taken part in 250 games in the white tunic, for 52 goals and 27 assists. His performances allowed him to integrate the Spanish selection, with whom he has accumulated 35 games (for 2 goals).

The player is however not in the small papers of his trainer, Charles Ancelotti. The Italian technician has only fielded him 15 times, including 3 times as starters. The player still managed to score 3 goals and deliver 3 assists. Eager to find more playing time, the right winger did not agree with his leaders to extend. He might therefore join Ligue 1, where he might notably find his former teammate Sergio Ramos.

Marco Asensio might be an alternative to Marcus Rashford’s file. The English would have been extended “forcibly” by Manchester United on Tuesday, through a clause present in his contract. His case seems more complicated than that of the Spaniard, although Barça and Manchester United would also be attentive to his situation.
