Kylian Mbappé made his return to training with PSG to everyone’s surprise on Wednesday, just three days following the defeat of the French team in the final of the 2022 World Cup once morest Argentina, we learned. with the club.
PSG initially posted images on its Twitter account showing the striker getting out of a van in a gray tracksuit and rushing into the premises of the training center located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines) . The tweet is accompanied by the words “Kylian Mbappé back in training this Wednesday”. Asked by AFP, the club confirmed that the player was resuming the sessions with PSG.
This return is a real sensation, since the Parisian players concerned by the World Cup were supposed to benefit from at least ten days of rest before joining their club teammates. The return of Mbappé, top scorer in the World Cup (8 goals) and author of a hat-trick in the final, was thus expected from January 2023.
The player, who appeared very marked by the defeat of the Blues once morest Argentina, obviously wanted to hasten his reunion with the field, the day following his 24th birthday.
The rest of Mbappé’s program has not been specified by PSG, which will face Strasbourg on December 28 for the resumption of Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes, then in Lens on January 1.
