Hundreds of thousands of Moroccan people descended to welcome and salute the national football team, which returned on Tuesday to the country, following a historic participation in the World Cup in Qatar, which finished fourth.
The Moroccan national team was greeted by thousands inside and outside the airport before the players and coaching staff boarded an open-top bus bearing the Moroccan flag and the phrase “Dima Morocco”.
The players exchanged greetings with the Moroccan fans, who wore T-shirts with the names of their favorite stars, while raising the national flag.
The Moroccan national team players documented the solemn moments of popular celebration, including Hakim Ziyech and Naseer Mazraoui, following their arrival by private plane.
The Moroccan national team bus passed through the most prominent arenas in the cities of Sale and Rabat, before heading to the royal palace in the center of the capital to attend the royal reception ceremony.
