Movie theater: Tom Cruise jumps out of a helicopter to thank his fans
In full stunt for a new “Mission: Impossible”, the actor hailed the triumph of the sequel to “Top Gun” at the box office.

Currently filming “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2” in South Africa, Tom Cruise wanted to say thank you to his audience in a special way.
To salute the triumph of “Top Gun: Maverick” which brought in nearly 1.5 billion dollars at the worldwide box office, the interpreter of Pete “Maverick” Mitchell jumped from a helicopter.
“I didn’t want the year to end without thanking you for coming to the movies and supporting Top Gun: Maverick,” he shouts over the sound of the helicopter.

Director Christopher McQuarrie then asks him to resume filming “Mission: Impossible” by tapping him on the shoulder. Tom Cruise dives into the air as he continues to speak, “As always, thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It is truly the honor of my life. I lack altitude, so I have to go back to work (…) We will see you at the cinema!” concludes Tom Cruise. The video ends with a stunt from the actor and the announcement of the release of “Top Gun: Maverick” on Paramount+ this Thursday.
This sequel is the highest-grossing film of 2022 and the highest-grossing of Tom Cruise’s career.
“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1” will be released in theaters on July 12, 2023. Part 2 is currently scheduled for release on June 28, 2024.
