Jackson came into the NFL undrafted in 2018 and particularly impressed with the New England Patriots with 25 interceptions in four years. Ahead of this season, the 27-year-old joined the Chargers, where he signed for five years and $82.5 million.
Making just five caps this season, the 2021 Pro Bowler will be out for the remainder of the season following tearing his patellar tendon in his right knee in Week 7.
Prior to his NFL tenure, Jackson was accused of armed robbery. He was charged with triple burglary with a deadly weapon and breaking into an apartment. However, the court acquitted him.
