In November 2023, the Enchantment of the Seas departs Royal Caribbean one positioning cruise von Barcelona following Tampa, Florida. The cruise lasts 14 nights and is available from €569 per person in an inside cabin. However, the outside cabin from €613 is more attractive in comparison. With the sea travel service, there is an additional on-board credit of €50 per cabin. Arrival and departure are not included.

The trip is not worth it for solo travelers. The prices only start at 1018€, which is almost the same price for 2 full-paying guests.

Full board in the main restaurants with breakfast, lunch and dinner is included as usual on cruises. Above that, the Enchantment has a 24-hour café called Latté-Tudes in the center on deck 6. The snacks here are also free.

Drinks from the water and juice dispensers are free and at Royal Caribbean are also available 24 hours a day in the buffet restaurant. But you can also order ice water, lemonade and simple tea in the dining room for free. This is advertised differently depending on the ship. The waiters will tell you more precisely.

The ship and leisure facilities

Die Enchantment of the Seas is a medium-sized cruise ship with up to 2,446 passengers. It was put into service in 1997, lengthened in 2005 and extensively modernized at the end of 2012. However, it is not a floating amusement park like the latest ones Royal Caribbean ships, but more of a ship for classic cruise activities like swimming and playing shuffleboard. However, Royal Caribbean always has an excellent entertainment program, from sports on the upper deck, childcare, parties to the classic theater shows, there is something for everyone. The Enchantment of the Seas is therefore well suited for a relaxing journey to Florida with lots of sea.

There are 2 outdoor swimming pools, a children’s pool and 4 jacuzzis and a beautiful solarium with another pool and 2 jacuzzis. There is also a climbing wall and a fitness center at the rear.

This is the only specialty restaurant (approx. $40 extra) there Chops Grille. You can find bars on all decks where there is a program.

Currency on board is the dollar, whereby you can use the cruise card to settle everything and at the end pay by credit card or in cash. Board language is English. German-speaking staff is rare, but someone can usually be called at reception. The menus in German are only sometimes available.

For guests from Diamond status there is also the Diamond Lounge, which unfortunately has been abolished in the new ships, which offers free drinks for status customers.

Flights to Barcelona from Germany can often be found from €40. With checked baggage you end up at around 80€.

The return flight from Tampa is currently being called for a good €600. Since the low-cost airlines in particular have not yet loaded any prices for November 23, you should wait a little longer before booking your flight.
