The National Security Network (RNS) presented its new national action plan for the years 2023 to 2027 on Monday. Unlike the first plan, published in 2017 following the attack on Charlie Hebdo, the second plan does not only aim to prevent jihadist radicalization. The measures extend to violent left, right and “monothematic” extremism, such as the violent extremism of conspiratorial movements born during the covid crisis. The new plan emphasizes the development of preventive actions targeting young people.
