Kwon Ah-sol (36) bowed his head, saying, “I ruined the competition” regarding his weight failure.

Kwon Ah-sol, who recorded 78kg at the weigh-in event the day before and exceeded 5kg from the contract weight of 73kg, started with a 10-point deduction for all rounds in the match and eventually failed to avoid a decision loss.

After the game, Kwon Ah-sol said, “I don’t think I should talk a lot.” Then, she bowed deeply in the cage, saying, “I will bow once to apologize because I made a lot of mistakes.”

He apologized once more, saying, “First of all, I’m really sorry to the fans. And I’m so sorry to the officials, referees, and players because I ruined the tournament so much.”

Nakamura won the second matchup following KO’ing Kwon A-sol at Road FC 013 in October 2013.

After the match, Nakamura said, “I’m sorry that I had a passive match because of the weight difference.” He added, “Kwon Ah-sol is a player with good personality and skills, so I hope he develops.”

“I’m happy to win, but the content of the match was passive and I wasn’t satisfied, so next time I’ll do a good match that everyone can support,” he expressed his aspirations.

Kwon Ah-sol, who failed the weigh-in the day before, decided to give 50% of his fight money to Nakamura. It is known that Nakamura received additional fight money as he even played a handicap match considering the weight difference.
