AVL’s project concerns the creation, by 2027, of 500 jobs, mainly engineering positions.
A memorandum of understanding relating to the implementation of an investment project by the company AVL Maroc was signed on Monday, December 19, by Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Digital Transition Ghita Mezzour, Minister of Investment Mohcine Jazouli and General Manager of AVL Maroc & France, Jean Marc Boulard.
This investment project will help boost the ESO ecosystem (outsourcing of engineering and research and development activities including industrial engineering), reads a press release from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
It relates to a investment amount of 30 million DH with the key to the creation, by 2027, of 500 jobs, mainly engineering positions. The project will be implemented at Technopolis in Rabat and in other Moroccan cities, continues the same source.
AVL Maroc, a subsidiary of AVL France, operates among others in the development of motors, electric batteries, electronic systems and mobility products. The company now has renowned clients, including Stellantis and the Renault group.
