The actresses referred to complex moments that happened years ago, due to the complex relationship with the interpreter of ‘Pin Pon’.
Catalina Guerra and Gloria Münchmeyer were invited to the chapter of All for you, program hosted by Cecilia Bolocco. In the instance, both recounted facts related to her career in theater, television and her personal life.
In this sense, a part of the program focused on the relationship that Guerra had with his father, Jorge Guerra (Pin Pon), who was not present during his childhood.
In this sense, Bolocco consulted Gloria Münchmeyer, mother of the actress, regarding what it was like to raise her two children during that period, without the support of her husband.
“It was hard, but more than material, because of the feeling that you had to drive that boat by yourself. No sharing of responsibility. That was the hardest part,” said the 84-year-old artist.
“The poor things had to adapt to my way of life. For example, I never went to a parent meeting, because I was at the theater. It was something strange, but within the strange they had to adapt very well to the situation ”, added.
In the same episode, Catalina maintained that her father abandoned them when she was barely two years old, so the relationship between the two was always limited.
“I have no memories of my dad and my mom together. I only saw my dad three times. Since we never had a TV, I didn’t watch it, we just went out on the balcony and listened to Pin Pon singing his songs (from the neighbor’s TV) ”, he indicated.
In the instance, he also acknowledged that he managed to reconcile, in part, with him when he entered a more adult stage.
“I went through a long process of being very angry with my dad. It was super difficult to understand him, to forgive him (…) It’s super crazy to think that a father who left his children is also ‘Pin Pon’, so He educated five generations of Chileans, but not his children.” detailed.
