In another operation carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), in the south of Bolívar state, the military brigade found and destroyed an observation booth -presumably- belonging to the criminal gang “El Tren de Guayana”.
Domingo Hernández Lárez, strategic operational commander of the Fanb, pointed out that this structure was occupied by sentinels or armed criminals who watched the area.
Likewise, the also general in chief reiterated that “all kinds of camps that support illegal mining, human trafficking and drug trafficking will be dismantled.”
The military troops continue to inspect the areas and assets protected by the State.
third camp
This weekend, a third camp that -supposedly- belongs to said criminal group, was also located by the military, in the Roscio municipality.
The uniformed men managed to seize five mortars, war ammunition of different calibers and quartermaster material.
Five days ago -December 13- a second camp of “the Guayana Train” was dismantled. In it, they collected electric detonators, cables, slow fuse, pentolite cartridges and other explosives.
In the “Security and Defense of the Canaima National Park” plan, this Friday clandestine tracks were disabled, presumably used by armed criminal groups.
Hernández Lárez pointed out that the clandestine tracks were used by gangs for illegal mining, linked to drug trafficking and human trafficking.
security deployment
The military troops continue the execution of the operation in the south of Bolívar state to “protect forests, forest reserves and ecosystems.”
Through the official Instagram account of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), it was also announced that the military brigades maintain active special citizen security deployments in Bolívar, Amazonas and Delta Amacuro.
