ATLANTA, Georgia (Telemundo Atlanta) – One person was injured in a shooting caused by a fight that took place in front of a famous nightclub in Atlanta, authorities said.
Police said a shooting was reported around 3 a.m. outside the Opium club on Spring Street.
The victim, a man in his 20s, has a gunshot wound to the leg.
Deputies making way for a fire truck at the intersection of Central Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive sprang into action following realizing there was a fight between several people in front of the club.

The agents tried to disperse the people using irritant spray. It was then that someone fired a shot, injuring the subject.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, is expected to recover.
Authorities review body camera footage of the police officers involved to identify the shooter.
