Died ex-chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR Mikhail Moiseev. Nikolai Deryabin, spokesman for the Russian Military Leaders Club, announced this.

“On December 18, 2022, a prominent Soviet and Russian military figure, the former chief of the General Staff of the USSR Armed Forces, died, <…> General of the Army Moiseev Mikhail Alekseevich,” Deryabin told Interfax. Moiseev died at the age of 84.
