During the event Jump Party 2023the first promotional video for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Takahiro and illustrated by Youhei Takemura, Mato Seihei no Slave (Slave of the Magic Capital’s Elite Troops). The video confirms that the premiere remains scheduled for 2023 in Japan, and reveals production details and the voice cast.
Takahiro (who is also the author of the hit franchise of Akame ga Kill!) and Takemura began publishing the manga through the service Shonen Jump Plus from the publisher Shueisha in January 2019. The publisher published the eleventh compiled volume in September 2022, and will publish the twelfth in January 2023 in Japan. The work has already exceeded one million accumulated copies in circulation.

Synopsis of Mato Seihei no Slave
When entrances to a different dimension known as the “Mato” spring up all over Japan, a new resource known as “Peaches” is discovered that grants unique abilities only to women. However, dangerous monsters called “Yomotsu Shuuki” also roam the Mato and have been responsible for various disasters ever since. To combat them, the government formed the Anti-Demon Corps, an elite group of women who have received power from the Peaches.
One day, a high school student named Yuuki Wakura was coming home from school when he suddenly got lost in a Mato driveway. When he calls for help, he is immediately rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the head of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-Demon Corps. Recognizing his potential and also needing him to make his Peaches power more effective, he asks Yuuki to join the Anti-Demon Corps by becoming his slave, a position he might find more congenial than he initially thought. …
