An expatriate woman died following falling from a building in Sharjah. A 35-year-old Syrian woman died. The woman fell from the 17th floor of a building in Sharjah on Wednesday morning.
Sharjah Police has started an investigation into the incident. Sharjah prosecutors ordered the woman’s body to be examined in a forensic lab. The police had summoned the woman’s husband and eyewitnesses for questioning. Al Buhaira Police Station is investigating the incident.
The building has 46 floors. There is a parking facility and a health club on nine floors. The woman lived with her husband on the fifth floor of the building. This apartment does not have a balcony.

The police searched the apartment where the woman jumped. The woman’s mobile phone and handbag were found on the table in the balcony. The husband was working at the time of the incident.
