Update 1.08 speeds up healing and changing animations

With its average rating of now 72% on Metacritic (in its PS5 version) and 69% in its Xbox Series version, The Callisto Protocol is a game that has quite divided the press and the players. Between gameplay that was not well understood, unexpected crashes, annoying bugs and frankly not terrible PC optimization, Glen Schofield’s title did not live up to its hype. The developers at Striking Distance Studios understand and work hard to improve the experience for players. The studio is also very attentive to them and the latest update solves a lot of game design problems. It is now possible to skip death animations, which are often painful in length since people die very often in the game. Animations for healing and changing weapons have also been singled out for being slow, the character vulnerable to enemy attacks.
