Since the launch of Warhammer 40000: Darktide as of November 30, the Fatshark studio had yet to release a major update. It’s now done with this patch called The Signal, which adds new weapons, a new map, new features as well as various bug fixes. The Swedish developer is well aware of the many problems encountered since its release, and has therefore spared no effort to deploy tons of fixes related to crashing and balancing issues.
Among the novelties of this udate, we note the addition of a mission, which will ask players to reach the roof of the Archivum in order to restore communications there. The opportunity for Zealot and Ogryn players to test their new blunt weapons that will make your enemies waltz. A mission condition is also added – Hunting Grounds. You’ll have to push back a whole kennel of pox dogs.
Crafting gets an additional feature, refining. You will now be able to choose to override a single attribute on the weapon, but this will lock out the others. Finally, on the side of the selection of missions, you will now have the possibility of making private games in an assault team of 2 to 4 players.
Apart from the above, many bugfixes have been made. If you want to see these many changes in more detail, the patch note is available on Steam.
