Club World Cup 2023: Gianni Infantino will organize the World Cup in Morocco (video)

FIFA President Gianni Infantino revealed some of the recent decisions he made regarding the federation’s competitions.

Infantino said that the 2025 Club World Cup will consist of 32 teams instead of the mini-version that appeared in previous years.

He pointed out that the 2023 edition of the tournament will be held in February in Morocco, with the participation of 7 teams, including Real Madrid, the Champions League champion.

During his speech, Infantino stressed the possibility of continuing as president of FIFA until 2031, considering his current term as the first of 3 periods during which he can be present as head of the most important body in managing football affairs in the world.

It is worth noting that these statements came on the sidelines of the press conference held by the FIFA President today, Friday, before the final match of the 2022 Qatar World Cup between Argentina and France next Sunday.
