Adobe earns 1.4% less at the end of its fiscal year, with 4,469 million

The developer of design and editing ‘software’ Adobe recorded a net profit of 4,756 million dollars (4,469 million euros) in the whole of its fiscal year, ended at the beginning of December, which is 1.4% less than in the previous year, as can be seen from the income statement published by the company.

However, Adobe’s turnover for the year as a whole amounted to 17,606 million dollars (16,545 million euros), 11.5% more.

Subscription revenues accounted for 16,388 million (15,400 million euros), 12.4% more, while those from the sale of products stood at 532 million (500 million euros), 4% less, while Billing for services was 686 million (645 million euros), 4.4% more.

In the fourth quarter of its fiscal year, Adobe recorded a net profit of 1,176 million dollars (1,105 million euros), 4.6% less. Billing between September and early December was 4,525 million dollars (4,252 million euros), 10% more.

“Adobe generated record revenue in fiscal 2022,” said Shantanu Narayen, Adobe’s president and CEO.

Looking ahead to the next financial year, Adobe expects to earn between 19,100 and 19,300 million dollars (17,949 and 18,137 million euros), as well as achieve earnings per share of between 10.75 and 11.05 dollars.
