upper monthQuietly made an appearance at the WirForce e-sports carnivalof Logitech G Cloud Cloud Gaming Handheldofficially published in Taiwan today, and at the same time announced the cooperation with Taiwan Mobile GeForce Now servicecooperation program. Taiwan is also the first market outside of North America to sell G Cloud following the United States and Canada.

Logitech G Cloud is a horizontal game console with a 7-inch screen, with three main game modes. One is, as the name suggests, connecting to cloud gaming services such as GeForce Now, Xbox Cloud Gaming, etc., allowing you to play games through cloud services wherever there is Wi-Fi. If you don’t want to pay a monthly fee, it can also connect to your personal game device, connect PlayStation, Xbox, Steam Link through Wi-Fi, so that you can play games anywhere at home. Finally, G Cloud uses the Android operating system. Although it only uses the Snapdragon 720G processor, it is enough to play some small games, or watch videos from YouTube, Netflix and other services, and use it as an entertainment machine.

G Cloud’s 7-inch screen has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and a weight of 463g. It has 64GB of built-in storage space (expandable through MicroSD), and claims to last up to 12 hours of power. However, G Cloud is not equipped with a mobile network, which means that it can only be connected to the Internet through Wi-Fi-of course, sharing the Internet through mobile phones is one way, but whether the delay can be accepted needs to be tested.

It is precisely because G Cloud does not have a 5G network that the handheld discount plan launched by Taiwan Mobile is a bit subtle-it still adopts the traditional 5G binding machine free strategy, with a monthly payment of NT$999 to bind a 5G phone number for more than 36 months ( Or NT$1,199 for more than 30 months) you can buy G Cloud for zero yuan, and also get 6 months of free GeForce Now and 12 months of Disney+ (Disney+ needs to be bound for regarding 24 months, and the original price of NT$270 for the next 12 months) /moon). That is to say, you have implemented the 5G plan of Taiwan Mobile, but you cannot directly use it for G Cloud.

The stand-alone price of G Cloud is NT$11,990, and it seems to be sold exclusively by Taiwan Mobile for the time being. It is scheduled to go on sale in Taiwan on December 23. The pre-order period is from December 16th to 22nd, and the first 1,000 buyers will get an early bird gift G Cloud dedicated handheld stand.
