After giving up his concerts and undergoing chemotherapy for lung cancer, the French singer will return to festivals in 2023, notably Sion sous les étoiles, on July 14.
In March, despite his treatment, Florent Pagny had participated in a concert in support of Ukraine.

French singer Florent Pagny, who had to cancel part of his 2022 tour due to lung cancer, will return to the stage for a series of festivals in 2023, he announced on social media on Thursday. He has made public the names of twelve festivals where he will perform, in June and July, in France and Switzerland, in Sion under the stars on July 14, a festival whose program should be announced this Friday.
Other concerts will be announced later, it is specified in the message, which gives no indication of the state of health of the 61-year-old singer. He announced almost a year ago that he had to cancel the remaining thirty concerts of his 60th birthday tour to undergo treatment for a cancerous tumor in the lung. In March, he took part in a concert in support of Ukraine.
Historical juror of the tele-hook program of the TF1 channel “The Voice”, with nine seasons on the clock, Florent Pagny had continued the recordings for the edition which ended in May, but will not participate in the twelfth season next year.
