The singer Florent Pagny, who had to cancel part of his tour in 2022 because of a lung cancer, will return to the stage for a series of festivals in 2023, he announced on Thursday on social networks. He has made public the names of twelve festivals where he will perform in June and July, starting with the Festival de Nîmes (June 30) and passing through the Arènes de Bayonne (July 21) and the Colmar Wine Fair (30 July).
No indication of his state of health
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, and other concerts will be announced later, is it specified in this message which gives no indication on the state of health of the 61-year-old singer. He had announced nearly a year ago, on January 25, that he had to cancel the remaining thirty concerts of his 60th birthday tour to undergo treatment for a cancerous tumor in the lung.
In March, he participated in a concert in support of Ukraine broadcast on France 2 and France Inter. Historic juror of TF1’s telecrochet program “The Voice” with nine seasons on the clock, Florent Pagny had continued the recordings for the edition which ended in May, but will not participate in the twelfth season the year next.
