Macron said he had great respect for the “magnificent” Argentina national team, but was still optimistic regarding France’s ability to win the World Cup, with the squad well-prepared and having a great mix of young and experienced players.
“I think we are the favorite to win the title,” Macron said.
Macron was in the stands of Al-Bayt Stadium to support his country during its 2-0 victory over Morocco, yesterday, Wednesday, in the semi-finals of the Qatar World Cup, to set a fiery date in the final once morest Argentina.
The French President revealed that he will return to Qatar to follow the final match, which will be held at Lusail Stadium.
