“Raising the Head of the Arabs” .. Mohammed bin Rashid praises the Moroccan national team after bidding farewell to the World Cup

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, praised the Moroccan national team’s march in the 2022 World Cup, despite the loss to France in the semi-finals.

The Moroccan national team lost to France 0-2 in the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup, ending its dream and the dream of Arabs and Africans to qualify for the final match, and setting a date with Croatia for third place.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum wrote, through his personal account on the social networking site “Twitter”, praising the Moroccan national team: “Proud of the lions, proud of the performance, proud of the spirit, proud of the arrival.”

The Vice President of the UAE added: “Morocco raised the head of the Arabs in the largest international sports forum.. Thank you, the Atlas Lions.”

The defeat by France ended the historic adventure of the Moroccan national team in the World Cup at the semi-final stage, following it achieved a historic achievement during the tournament by becoming the first Arab and African team to reach this role.

The Moroccan national team will play once morest its Croatian counterpart for third place next Saturday, while the French national team, the defending champion, will play with Argentina, on Sunday, December 18 at Lusail Stadium, in the final match.
