The actor and dancer reportedly left his home without his car, prompting his wife, Allison Holker to report him missing to police. She was in a panic when she notified the authorities, reports the site TMZ. Officers were later informed by a 911 call that the man was found dead in a hotel room.
The couple married in 2013 and had just celebrated their 9th anniversary together last Saturday. They had three children.

When he last spoke to TMZ, he said he was enjoying his new life following Ellen’s show ended, and was spending more time with his family.
Ellen DeGeneres reacted around 9:30 a.m. (California local time) a few hours following the news by the media of the death of her ex-collaborator and friend.
“My heart is broken. tWitch was love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I’ll miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison [son épouse] and her beautiful children, Weslie, Maddox and Zaia”, she wrote on her social networks accompanied by a photo of her and her close collaborator.
His wife Allison Holker, who is also a professional dancer, gave a brief statement to TMZ.
“Stephen lit up every room he walked into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his admirers. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am sure of it. Not a day will go by without us honoring his memory,” she said, paying him a vibrant tribute.
“Stephen, we love you, we miss you and I will always save the last dance for you,” she concluded.
