WhatsApp will notify when a user tries to take a screenshot
As explained WABetaInfothe site specialized in the messaging service, the latest update of the open beta of WhatsApp for Android will have the ability to block screenshots on some photos and videos.
In such a situation each user will be notified when another takes a screenshot on a photo that can be viewed only once.

Notably activating this function causes the possibility of recording screen or taking screenshots to be blocked of photos and videos, making them only viewable once.
Regarding the arrival date, it has not been officially announced at the moment, but it is expected to arrive en masse in the coming weeks.
