This will not delight many fans. You’ll have to wait longer to play the game Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy if you have a PS4 or an XBox One! Indeed, on the eve of a new LIVE when information regarding the game is expected to be revealed, Warner Bros. announced with a simple tweet a new release date.
The good news will be for users of Nintendo Switchwhich finally have a release date: the July 25, 2023.
The bad one is for console users PlayStation 4 et Xbox One who will ultimately have to wait for the 4 avril 2023around 2 months later than initially announced!
The players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC can, as planned, discover the game on February 10, 2023, or even February 7, 2023 by pre-ordering a 72-hour early access edition.
Should the release for all consoles have been postponed to the same date? Some believe so, and they have canceled their pre-orders on delayed platforms. Especially since it had been announced with early access and that the players had therefore rushed on it.

Physical pre-orders of the game Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy (standard) are open on the following sites, if you don’t want to wait. Virtual pre-orders, for the Collector’s and Deluxe editions, open from August 25, 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The launch date for pre-orders on Nintendo Switch will be announced at a later date.
All players who pre-order the game, including the standard version, will get the mount Hippogriff d’Onyx exclusive following completing the corresponding quest. PlayStation versions of the game will also have an exclusive quest (with or without pre-order).
