- Nintendo Switch: July 25, 2023
Why is the Nintendo Switch version coming later?
It is currently unclear why the version for the hybrid console from Nintendo will appear so much later.
With other Warner Bros. games, the “old-gen versions” were lost altogether. Gotham Knights was originally announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well, but was only released as a next-gen title following the release delay. The popularity of Harry Potter (even if it doesn’t play a role in Hogwarts Legacy) should probably be a decisive factor for the publisher to also publish Hogwarts Legacy for the previous generation of consoles including the Nintendo Switch.
