Dubai women organize the first traditional collective wedding

Under the generous patronage of the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, and under the directives of Sheikha Amina bint Humaid Al Tayer – President of the Women’s Renaissance Association in Dubai, And in the presence of Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, and members of the Federal National Council, Sabreen Al Yamahi, Hind Al Alili, Naima Al Mansouri and Aisha Al Mulla, the association celebrated yesterday, Monday, the first traditional collective wedding for women, at the Dubai World Trade Center, Zabeel Hall, in an initiative organized annually by the association represented At the Al-Nahda Center for Consultation and Training, which emanates from the Zaffa Harir initiative adopted by the center, and this collective heritage wedding is the first of its kind in the UAE.

The number of participants was «5» brides and grooms. The wedding was adorned with manifestations of joy and happiness shared by the attendees, including the invitees and the organizers, who were proud of their adherence to the ancient Emirati heritage.

Khawla Al Naboodah, the supervisor of the Renaissance Center for Consultation and Training, a member of the Board of Directors of the Association, appreciated the role of the supporting institutions and participation in the success of the wedding.
