The digital identification application Itsme is launching a new feature that allows you to sign several documents at the same time, with a single click, its developers announced in a press release on Tuesday. The aim is to considerably reduce the administrative burden for companies and liberal professions.
Among the people who use the digital signature, many are those who, by their activity, are led to sign a large number of documents simultaneously. This is particularly the case for chartered accountants, insurers, office managers, HR employees, notaries and mayors. “Until now, they had to confirm the signature of each document separately using their itsme app, and therefore enter their secret code each time, which might take a while when they had many documents to sign.“, details Itsme.
Now, thanks to the new multiple signature feature or “batch signing”, these people will be able to sign several documents simultaneously. “The result of this multiple signature is exactly the same as that of a single signature: each document contains a separate signature with a personal signing certificate. And each signature remains unique, confidential and protected once morest counterfeiting,” the statement said.
Launched in February 2019, the Itsme Sign functionality is experiencing exponential growth year following year, according to its designers. By the end of 2022, it will record nearly 1 million signatures, more than double last year.
