Frederic Vasseur is the new head of the Ferrari team

Ferrari has announced the appointment of Frédéric Vasseur as CEO and Team Leader of Formula 1. The French specialist will replace Mattia Binotto and will take up his duties from January 9, 2023.

Ferrari is the third Formula 1 team to be led by Frédéric Vasseur. In 2016, he was the head of Renault, and since 2017 he has held a similar position at Sauber Motorsport, which now operates under the name Alfa Romeo Racing. In the youth GP2 series, as part of the ART GP team owned by Vasseur, Nico Rosberg in 2005 and Lewis Hamilton in 2006 won the title.
