[헤럴드경제=고승희 기자] Singer Kang Min-kyung donated 150 million won to Yonsei University Medical Center’s social project support for children and adolescents, the agency Wake One said on the 12th.
The donation was all of the profits earned through Kang Min-kyung’s YouTube channel, and was delivered under the name of ‘Gyan Ming-kyung YouTube subscribers’. The donation is used to support treatment for children and adolescents from low-income families at Severance Children’s Hospital.
Kang Min-kyung previously attended the donation delivery ceremony held on the 9th and said, “Because the love of the subscribers was able to grow the channel, I wanted to deliver it to a place where greater love is needed in the name of the subscribers. I hope she can help children and adolescents smile,” she said.
Yoon Dong-seop, director of Yonsei University Medical Center, said, “I am deeply grateful to Min-kyung Kang for giving precious opportunities to children and adolescents who have not received timely treatment due to financial difficulties through this donation.”
Previously, on the 4th, Kang Min-kyung posted a video titled ‘Because it’s the end of the year’ on her YouTube channel and informed Yonsei University Medical Center of the donation method through an online contract method. Her subscribers are conveying her good heart to Yonsei University Medical Center in the same way that her subscribers, Kang Min-kyung, did.
