The violent outcome of a pursuit that occurred in Montérégie on Saturday was filmed by cameras in the area.

Police officers from the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges tried to intercept a vehicle on Saturday on Highway 20, but the driver refused to stop.
The pursuit of the vehicle ended when the driver in his twenties skidded and then hit a Hydro-Québec pole, before ending his race in spite of himself by driving into a building.
The man fled, but was quickly found by the police; he was hiding under a stored boat.
