Millionaires enlists another signing in attack: Fernando Uribe returns to play with Leonardo Castro | Colombian Soccer | betplay league

Leonardo Castro became this Saturday the brand new signing of Millionaires for the 2023 season.

The BetPlay II-2022 League scorer (15 goals) and champion of the tournament with Deportivo Pereira, signed for three years with the ambassador team, and hopes to succeed in Bogotá to show that he is a striker for a team of parchments.

Millionaires will face three big challenges next season: they will play the preliminary phase in the Copa Libertadores; will defend the title in the BetPlay Cup; and will go for the elusive title in the BetPlay League, since it has not obtained a star since 2017.

That is why the coach Alberto Gamero understood that he needs forwards of carats and hierarchy, to attend three commitments next year. Thus, with Leonardo Castro it is not enough and Millonarios goes for another bomb signing.

In the last few hours, Millonarios accelerated the talks to hire a renowned striker in Colombian soccer, and although he did not have a good 2022, he has the approval and confidence of Alberto Gamero.

The name of Fernando Uribe causes controversy among the blue fans, since he went to Junior for having a better salary; now he was released and the albiazul leadership would be very close to re-fishing him to be Leonardo Castro’s partner, forming a scary striker.

Thus, this week Uribe might be announced as another strong contract for Gamero’s team.
