Petersburg school told how their 20-year-old graduate died a hero in Ukraine December 11, 2022 – December 11, 2022

Alexander Andreev, a graduate of school No. 368 in the Frunzensky district, died as a hero during the fighting. This was announced by the administration of the educational institution on the official pages on the social network VKontakte.

The young man graduated from high school in 2020. During his school years, he was the captain of the Superheroes 368 volunteer movement.

According to the school administration, he went to serve in the summer and was able to enroll in the Pskov 76th Airborne Division. By autumn, he signed a contract, and he got into the combat zone in early October.

“On October 17, the guys took a hard fight. When a comrade’s machine gun jammed, Alexander began to cover his comrade with fire, then he himself went on the attack on enemy positions, which contributed to the further advancement of the paratroopers, ”the school said.

Alexander died the next day, October 18, when a mortar attack was opened on the observation post where he was.

By decree of the President of Russia, Alexander Andreev was awarded the Order of Courage. He was buried on the Alley of Heroes of the Babigonsky cemetery.
