The academic authorities announced when the second round of registration for the 2023 school year will begin.

With a trend that remains positive compared to previous years, the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMdP) registered around 18 thousand people registered for the 2023 school year following the first enrollment period which started in October and was extended until the first days of December due to the strong demand of interested parties. As in other years, Medicine, Psychology y Nursing They were the careers most chosen by the students. when will the second registration period and what is the academic offer.
As a “photograph” very similar to 2022, the academic authorities of the UNMdP announced the closing of the first round of registration to the house of higher studies with a total of 18 thousand registered and a strong inclination for health careers. By 2022, UNMdP had closed its first round of registration with 19 registered and represented an increase of 15% compared to 2021.
In 2019, there had been a 50% increase in the total number of registered and registered with 14 thousand people registered. In 2020, meanwhile, there were 16 thousand while in 2021 a record number of 21 thousand noted. With these numbers, the trend remains positive and between 2022 and 2023 a “very similar photograph” is appreciated.
After completing the first registration, the Academic Secretariat announced that from the February 13 to 18 -and like every year- a second round to sign up for the UNMdP in which the interested parties can complete their process through the official page to enroll in any of the careers offered by the house of higher studies, with the exception of Medicine.
In detail, the first registration to the UNMdP closed with a strong demand in the races of Medicine (1,800 registered and registered), Nursing y Psychology and of the careers that are dictated in the academic units of the Faculties of Economic and Social Sciences y humanities.
In turn, they reported from the Academic Secretariat, the Faculty of Agrarian added regarding 450 registered men and women, of whom around half devoted themselves to the new career of the Intensive Plant Production Technique which is delivered virtually. In this sense, they ensure that the shorter undergraduate courses “begin to show a trend” and, in this case, compete with the number of enrollees in agricultural engineering.
On the other hand, they assured that the races of industrial engineering, Computation and Informatics continue among the most chosen while Architecture y Law remain at the same levels as in previous years.
