The American actor Bruce Willis continues to give admirers of cult cinema something to talk regarding.

And it is that, following being diagnosed with aphasia last March, Willis, 67, decided to retire from the cameras and enjoy his private life with his current family.

Aphasia is a degenerative disease that decreases the ability to understand the words of others, reading and writing; as well as fluency in speech.

Emma Hemming, British model and Willis’s current consort, has talked regarding what it has been like to live with her retired acting husband.

In the same way, Demi Moore, the actor’s ex-partner and with whom he had three children, also stated that he has helped the father of his descendants to cope with this degenerative disease.

In the month of March 2022, Emma Herming was in charge of communicating her husband’s decision to retire from his acting career.

“To the amazing Bruce fans, as a family we want to share that our beloved Bruce Willis has been experiencing some health issues and was recently diagnosed with aphasia, which is affecting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is walking away from the career that has meant so much to him,” Emma wrote on her social media page.

The American show business portal ‘RadarOnline’ reported that, apparently, the former actor’s family is very concerned regarding his state of health.

Both Emma Herming and Demi Moore have been very aware of Willis’s deteriorating health, an anonymous source would have told her.

“There are days when you see glimpses of the old Bruce, but they are brief and far between,” the portal revealed.

“It seems that he is getting further and further away from them, and that breaks their hearts,” the outlet mentioned.
