Sexual assault allegations against Nick Carter: ABC network’s turn to cancel its Backstreet Boys Christmas special

After the cancellation by Noovo on Thursday of the broadcast of the special program of The week of the 4 Julies on the Backstreet Boys, the American network ABC also decided to throw in the trash its Christmas special with the group, which was to be broadcast on December 14.

The show A Very Backstreet Christmas will not be presented due to a new assault charge once morest singer Nick Carter, which was revealed on Thursday.

The show, according to Varietyhad recently been filmed in Los Angeles, on the occasion of the launch of their 10th opus entitled A Very Backstreet Christmas.

Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough were reportedly surrounded by Seth Rogen, Meghan Trainor, Rob Riggle, Nikki Glaser, Ron Funches and Atsuki Okatsuka.

This decision by the American network follows allegations of sexual assault which allegedly took place in 2001 on the training tour bus in Tacoma, Washington.

Shannon Ruth, who was 17 at the time, was allegedly assaulted by Nick Carter in the vehicle toilet and in a bed. The alleged victim has autism and cerebral palsy.

The singer’s entourage denied the facts calling this allegation false.

In the evening yesterday, following the broadcast of a replacement comedy show, Noovo issued a message on social networks.
