AMD RX 7900 XTX et RX 7900 XT : fuites des 3DMark GPU Benchmarks

A few preliminary results des AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX et Radeon RX 7900 XT under 3DMark just leaked. You have to be careful because a new driver can clearly modify the results we have here. If these elements are confirmed, the fight will be bitter between the RX 7900 and la RTX 4080. Obviously, the 3DMark suite is not a panacea for getting a complete idea of the performance of a graphics card. But the interest of these tests is to allow us to know the performance of the two graphics cards in 3DMark Time Spy at 4K and 2K resolution, but also under 3DMark Fire Strike, which uses DirectX 11, in the same resolutions.

In Time Spy the RX 7900 XTX scores 13,729 points at 4K resolution. It is disturbing to see the score very close to the RX 7900 XT with 13,687 points. In both cases, we would be very close to the RTX 4080 with its 14,005 points. In 2K resolution, the RTX 4080 manages to hold its own with its 28,058 points once morest the 25,473 points of the RX 7900 XTX and the 23,897 points of the RX 7900 XT.

3Dmark RX 7900: the RTX 4080 in a pincer movement?

Under Fire Strike, the RX 7900 XTX scores 18,853 points at 4K resolution and 37,702 points at 2K. With these results it surpasses the RTX 4080 which obtains 17,294 and 3,932 points respectively. The RX 7900 XT is still very close with 16,195 and 33,497 points.

Thus, if we were to stick to this last test (and subject to the results) the RTX 4080 finds itself in a pincer movement between an RX 7900 XTX which exceeds it by 9% in 4K and 10% in 2K and an RX 7900 XT which is almost at its level (2% slower).

In the next few days we will deliver complete tests on the RX 7900 which have recently been in our workshop as you have seen here.
