Jang Chang-ik, chairman of Woo Jin-Keejeon, received the honorable Korean Electric Industry Grand Prize at the ‘2022 Electric Industry Day’ award ceremony hosted by the Electric Industry Promotion Association.

The Electric Industry Promotion Association (Chairman Koo Ja-kyun) held the ‘2022 Electric Industry Day’ award ceremony at the Intercontinental Seoul COEX Hotel on the 9th, and awarded the ‘Korea Electric Industry Grand Prize’ to Chang-Ik Jang, Chairman Woo Jin-Ki-Jeon.

In addition, Song Ki-dong, a senior researcher at the Korea Electric Research Institute, was awarded the Excellence Award at the Korea Electrical Industry Awards.

‘Electrical Industry Day’ commemorates the establishment of the Electric Industry Promotion Association (December 7, 1989) and honors the passion of the elders who devoted themselves to the development of the electrical industry in Korea. It was enacted to declare the will to practice to achieve this second leap internally and externally.

Also at the event, Vitzro EM Managing Director Son Jin-woo received the Industrial Medal and KEPCO Headquarters Lee Jeong-bok received the Presidential Commendation.

Bae Jeong-hwan, CEO of QIT, and Suh Han-seok, head of Korea Midland Power, were included on the list of prime minister citations. In addition, a total of 33 people were included in the list of winners, including 12 people, including Hong Jae-seong, director of EPI, from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, 7 people, including Smart Power CEO Park Ki-joo, from the Minister of SMEs and Startups, and 5 people, including Kim Hong-sam, CEO of Botary Energy, from KEPCO.
