Hernan Losada looking for a new T1 position: “Anderlecht was honest with me”

After bringing Beerschot up to D1A and leaving a good impression in Antwerp, the ex-midfielder from Anderlecht packed his bags for DC United in January 2021. An adventure in MLS which ended in April 2022, following six days only from his second season: the Argentine coach was dismissed, but DC was doing less well, without him, finishing the championship dead last.

Hernan Losada analyzes Argentina: “Unlike Roberto Martinez, Lionel Scaloni was not afraid of change in this World Cup”

”I remain very active”explains the 40-year-old Argentinian. “I was recently in Europe to see European matches, follow training. This week, I attend a session of my old club, Independiente. We will see what happens, I hope in Europe, even if it can be in MLS, which is a good league for young coaches with an attacking style. After Christmas, I will return to Belgium to follow matches.”

My agent has been in contact with Anderlecht.

He listened when Anderlecht looked for a coach. “There were contacts with my agent, but the Sporting management were honest saying they were waiting for the technical director to arrive. As he came from Denmark, they chose a Danish coach. It was not the right time for me.” Perhaps the train will pass once more.
