DUBAI, 9th December, 2020 (WAM) — Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than 1.2 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 408 sales, at a value of 947.21 million dirhams, including 43 sales of lands, at a value of 166.06 million dirhams, and 365 sales of apartments and villas, at a value of 781.15 million dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 29 million dirhams in the fourth district of Al Habiya, followed by a pledge of 23 million dirhams in the Palm Deira area, followed by a pledge of 18 million dirhams in the first Jebel Ali area.
The fifth Al-Habibiyah region topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded 10 sales at a value of 23 million dirhams, followed by the first Jebel Ali region, with 9 sales at a value of 46 million dirhams, and a third in the Mankhool region, with 3 sales at a value of 3 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a sale amounted to 54 million dirhams in the second Jumeirah area, as the most important sale, followed by a sale worth 21 million dirhams in the Fifth Al Thanyah area, and finally a sale worth 16 million dirhams in the Dubai Marina area.
Wadi Al-Safa 3 topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 53 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 189 million dirhams, followed by Al-Merkadh region, with 48 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 51 million dirhams, and a third in Al-Barsha, south of the fourth, with 36 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 24 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 232.19 million dirhams, including 8 mortgages for land at a value of 9.85 million dirhams and 59 mortgages for villas and apartments at a value of 222.34 million dirhams.
As for donations, 16 donations were registered, with a value of 50 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Dubai Marina area, with a value of 25 million dirhams, and another in the Al Barsha area, south of the fourth, with a value of 15 million dirhams.
