The new issue of Theater Magazine includes a file on the role of theater in combating corruption, which includes a study prepared by Ahmed Muhammad Al-Sharif on the theater’s confrontation of corruption issues locally and internationally, and an investigation by Kamal Sultan, during which some theater men talked regarding the role of theater in formulating the awareness of its viewers and confronting forms of corruption, and Amira Hajjaj continued The symposium held by the National Center for Theater to discuss “the role of art in community development, combating corruption and establishing a decent life”, in which Dr. Muhammad Nada – Professor of Crisis Prevention at the American University, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Ghanem – Professor of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, and the distinguished artist Mahmoud Al-Hudaini spoke and moderated it Playwright Emad Mutawa.

Dr. Amr Dawara wrote a study on the microtiatro, through a historical look at the development of this artistic template and its most prominent artistic standards, and seeing his analysis of some microtiatro texts. Sayed Al-Khammar writes regarding duets in the Egyptian theater, starting with the duet Abdel Moneim Madbouly and Fouad Al-Mohandes. Dr. Hani Hajjaj writes regarding the secret of immortality of the play Hamlet written by William Shakespeare, in addition to Mahmoud Qandil’s dialogue with Dr. Osama Abu Talib, during which he talks regarding the current theatrical scene and theatrical criticism. Experimental theater and poetic theater, and the Playwright’s Festival, where Muhammad Saif presents a virtual dialogue with the late Iraqi director Qassem Muhammad, a critical study by Dr. Kamal Younis on the poetic theatrical text, a man and a woman, and a case by the author Ashraf Abu Jalil under the title of Creative Presence in the Heart of the Culture of the East.

Dr. Wafaa Kamalo writes a study on the play “The Conference of the Birds” by Peter Brook, and Abdul Ghani Dawood translates the play “The Conference of the Birds” written by Peter Brook and Jean-Claude Carrier.
