Relationships are somewhat confusing, because the limits that are established are not always the same for everyone, because what is offensive or annoying for some may be irrelevant for others.
But there are extreme cases, like one that occurred in Rio Grande Do Sul, in Brazil. In full hearing, in which a man was accused of shooting her girlfriend five times, the woman asked permission to approach him and kiss him, despite the fact that she had tried to kill her some time before.
The public was surprised at the scene, as the subject was sentenced to seven years in prison, five of which were for attempted murder and another two for illegal possession of a weapon.
It all started when Micheli Schlosser was with Lisandro Rafael Posselt, her boyfriend, in an ice cream parlor, and she saw that she was receiving many messages from another woman, so she began to argue with him. The man, following leaving for a while, had no problem returning to the scene, removing the firearm from her and firing it at the young woman.
According to The reporter, the woman at the time stated: “He had never attacked me, he was always very good to me and he already paid for his mistake. Only he knows everything I told him early Sunday morning when we were coming back from the dance. We both made mistakes.”
“He didn’t want to kill me. Of course he did it wrong, but I’m sure he won’t do it once more. He always treated me very well. What man fills his room with pictures of his girlfriend? He did it,” the woman claimed.
The event occurred on August 11, 2019, when Micheli was 25 years old and her boyfriend was 28. The newspaper Southern Gazette interviewed the woman, who stated: “We will talk and if everything goes well, we will return and everything will be as before. I love him and I have already forgiven him.”
“We fought over conversations I read on his cell phone. That day I provoked him a lot. I threatened to report him to the police for rape. And that’s why he shot (…) He had never attacked me, he was always very good to me and he already paid for his mistake. Of all the men I had, he was one of the best. I can’t complain, he’s not a bad person,” he added.
Pedro Rui da Fontoura Porto, the prosecutor in charge of the case, at the time stated that on many occasions the victim sided with the aggressor: “The fact that she arrived not only at the plenary session, but also at the investigative hearing that it took place earlier, with intentions of marrying him, wanting to live the rest of her life with a man who tried to kill her, shocked everyone. When the judge announced the sentence in a semi-open regime, he applauded. He had never seen this before.”
Man threw his son from a third floor in the middle of a fight with his ‘ex’
Outrage in Argentina, in the province of Formosa, over the case of a minor, just five years old, who was the victim of a moment of anger on the part of his father; a man who, in the middle of an intra-family discussion, lashed out at the infant, throwing him into the void from a third floor.
However, and despite the seriousness of the fall, the authorities that dealt with the case warned that the timely emergency call allowed the minor to be immediately transferred to a nearby care center; known as Hospital de la Madre y el Niño, where the doctors managed to rescue his life; however, the child remained confined in an Intensive Care Unit, and at the moment his prognosis is guarded.
In turn, according to the authorities, the police officers who went to the house where the event occurred, in the La Pilar neighborhood, before a call to report domestic violence, might arrest the man responsible for the unfortunate event; the child’s father.
