Al-Marsad Newspaper: “Meed” website revealed that the Public Investment Fund intends to construct the tallest tower in the world with a height of 2 km on an area of 18 square km north of Riyadh.
Contractors said that the cost of constructing this tower amounts to 5 billion dollars, equivalent to 18.75 billion Saudi riyals, stressing that it is planned to be twice the height of the Burj Khalifa, which reaches a height of 828 meters in Dubai.
The specific location of the project is scheduled to be in the area west of King Khalid International Airport, and a comparison is currently being made between 8 companies to choose the best one to implement the project.
