According to the Metropolitan Police Department, following 2:00 pm on the 8th, there was a report that “ink is burning” at a printing factory in Okudo, Katsushika Ward.
According to the Tokyo Fire Department, 44 fire engines were sent out to extinguish the fire, and the momentum of the fire is almost subsided, but so far, regarding 300 square meters of the first and second floors of the building have been burned.
At that time, there were regarding 20 employees, but according to the fire department, one person was injured.
Firefighters are extinguishing fires because the factory was printing on T-shirts.
The site is a densely populated area regarding 1 km east of Keisei Oshiage Line Keisei Tateishi Station.
