Portal IGN continues to exclusively show the remake Dead Space as part of their December IGN First feature.
Following the first 15 minutes, journalists published another demonstration. This time around, the intro footage was compared to the original 2008 horror film to showcase the graphical changes.
In isolation from the old version, the re-release may seem very familiar, however, in direct comparison, it becomes clear that in terms of visuals, the remake has taken a big step forward. In addition, not only the graphics have been updated, but also the staging of some cutscenes and individual details. For example, characters that were previously only seen in the recordings are now present as full-fledged holograms in the levels.
In the comments under the video, players note how well the original is preserved, but at the same time they call the graphic update of the remake really impressive.
Dead Space Remake releases on January 27 exclusively for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
