Ronda Rousey’s Survivor Series match was cut short

During her last live gaming on YouTube, Ronda Rousey took the floor to talk regarding her match at the Survivor Series once morest Shotzi. A match that did not appeal to everyone and Ronda Rousey explains that she wants to take the blame for the error in the match. She also explains that the fight was supposed to be longer, but WWE officials made the decision during the match to stop it early:

“We had all the great chants from the crowd and then Shotzi brought me back in the ring and they told us we had to get out of there, plan B, we’re running out of time and we have to get out. I was amazed, and she was coming up on the corner and I was like, I was sorry I had to push her down, give her a Piper Armbar and then get out of there because that’s what they were telling me to do because I think the match before us (Finn Balor vs AJ Styles) went over six minutes. They were very concerned regarding the overtime and the match following us was a Triple Threat, so they mightn’t communicate with each other. They mightn’t cut WarGames, so that was the only time they might cut time.

On the blame for the match, she explains that the botch on Shotzi’s apron DDT is entirely her fault. Rousey says they worked for two weeks in her ring for the match and this hold, but unfortunately they didn’t get a chance to re-test the hold in the WWE ring because of the WarGames cage that was installed. So she was only focused on protecting Shotzi during the fall and not the execution, which caused this DDT outside the ring to fail.

Let’s hope that Ronda Rousey’s next match can go better, she who said she worked hard because her goal is always to highlight the next generation of wrestlers.
