Three stays scheduled for March 2023 will soon be bookable on the platform on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the release of the first part of The Hobbit in cinemas.
Cul-de-Sac just a click away. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the cinema release of Hobbit: an Unexpected Journey, Airbnb has added an announcement that will delight fans of the JRR Tolkien universe.
It will indeed be possible in March 2023 to be able to spend a few nights with a maximum of four people per stay on the filming location of the County. The decor, used during the trilogy of Lord of the Rings and that of Hobbitis particularly popular with tourists in New Zealand.
Opening of reservations on December 13
Only three stays will be put on sale. Those who are lucky enough to get a date can stay at the Hobbiton Mill located not far from the Green Dragon Inn, much appreciated by our half-man friends in the films. It will also offer its visitors a banquet. They will also have the chance to visit the fictitious village and have private access to a hobbit “hole”, these houses with round doors built on the ground and on the hills.
Notice, however, to those interested: the price is not yet known and reservations will open on December 13 at 10 p.m. sharp French time. And there are likely to be many, many people at that time on the platform that shared this future announcement on several of its social media accounts. Airbnb even warns Middle-earth fans: “First come, first served!”.
